In my last Fibro article, I told you how the doctors of Western Medicine have it all wrong on what Fibromyalgia is. That hasn’t changed. I am going to go out on a limb and tell you SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) IS the ROOT CAUSE of Fibromyalgia. I am convinced now, more than ever.
Every single person I have met that has ever healed from Fibromyalgia has done so, #1 through changing their diet and #2 changing their lifestyle. NO PHARMACEUTICALS! Not one person ever did it through drugs that a doctor has given them.
If you’re lucky, drugs simply mask the symptoms of Fibro and don’t treat, nor cure it. When was the last time that you met a doctor that wanted to give you something that actually cured you? Me? Maybe once or twice in my whole life.
FOOD FEEDS SIBO! SIBO is when bacteria from the large intestine sneak up and start living in the small intestine. That’s BAD!! Your small intestine is supposed to be a sterile environment with NO BACTERIA! Your Fibro IBS and IBD are probably SIBO. SIBO has also been proven to be the root cause of 60% to 70% of IBS and IBD.
What are the symptoms of SIBO? What are the symptoms of Fibro? All-over body pain both the joint and somatic. Soreness over certain points on pressure, dull aches, tenderness over different points over all the body quadrants. Other symptoms include insomnia, morning stiffness, tension headaches, pain and stiffness of the temporomandibular joints, depression, problems with concentration, and menstrual difficulties. In many cases, there are also bowel symptoms. These may range from bloating to diarrhea and abdominal pain, IBS, IBD, or irregular bowels. Histamine type skin, allergy, sinus issues are shared by both conditions. Plus, many more symptoms that match each condition exactly. Hmmm, very interesting.
95% of people who have Fibro also suffer from multiple food intolerances. I beg to differ that it’s actually 100% of people. Most people give up trying to figure out what they are intolerant of because the list is so long and so varied, they aren’t able to connect the dots. SIBO!
In a double-blind study conducted by Cedar-Sinai Center, they found a 100% correlation between SIBO and Fibromyalgia when conducting a lactulose breath test. People with Fibro actually had worse results than the people who weren’t diagnosed with Fibro and were only diagnosed with IBS. These findings are ASTOUNDING!!! Those with Fibromyalgia had a significantly greater hydrogen production than those with IBS, 100% as opposed to 84% respectively. The amount of Fibro pain of each participant in the study was measured. The higher the amount of pain, the higher the amount of hydrogen that was measured in the small intestine!
DING, DING, DING!!! We have a winner folks!!! It is almost unheard of to have such a high correlation in testing for a double-blind study. Thank you for this knowledge, college healthcare statistics class! You schooled me on this one!
